Summer 2025 marked our inaugural year in the USL-Youth Summer Academy League.
Team Chicago was thrilled to kick off its first season in the USL Youth League, offering players a competitive environment to train and play throughout June and July. For our 1st year Team Chicago had 8 teams across the age groups, with the 2015 & Older teams having the opportunity to qualify for the USL Youth National Championships, held in December in Tampa, Florida.
A unique feature of this program is that it welcomes both Team Chicago players & players from other clubs—there is no long-term commitment required. Participants train twice a week from mid-June through late July and compete in 6-8 league matches, with each team’s final schedule varying slightly. Team Chicago compete in the Midwest division, facing top teams from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan, all under the direction of our professional coaching staff.
