My name is Conor Murphy and I am from London, England.

My journey to this point started at the University of Hertfordshire, UK, where I studied for four years to complete my BSc. In Sports Studies. It was here I first had my introduction to coaching and the realization that every step thereafter would be to build a successful career as a coach. During this time I was fortunate enough to pair my studies with representing the University in their soccer program, as well as play for Potters Bar Town. 

After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire I was afforded the opportunity to work with Watford FC in the community to help provide and improve provisions in schools, while shadowing the academy sessions gave me the appetite to continue to grow as a coach. From there, 2014 lead to my first opportunity in the US with UK International Soccer, where I progressed from coach to part of the leadership team within a short 18 month period.

Continual professional development is extremely important to me as I continue to work towards my MSc. In Sports Exercise & Medicine and endeavor to complete the FIFA Medical Diploma by 2022. 

In the past 12 months I have managed to complete my Premier Diploma and Performance Analysis Diploma, both lead by United Soccer Coaches, as well as my USSF B license. I will be working towards my A license as soon as possible in 2023. 

I hold a keen interest in both performance & data analysis and hope to bring as much of that knowledge as possible to the players at Team Chicago.

I'm extremely excited in Team Chicago's new vision and can't wait to get started, see you all on the field.
